Pick an element, from hydrogen to meitnerium, to see the image it suggested to an artist and, as a bonus, learn a little about the element’s history and characteristics. The site also features a series of striking, computer-generated landscapes based on various patterns and relationships, involving properties such as ionization energy and density, within the periodic table.
